The Literacy Project offers free classes to adults, ages 16 and older, at five sites in Western Massachusetts: Amherst, Northampton, Greenfield, Orange and Ware.
Students study at their own pace in small, comfortable classes, working towards their own goals.
Most students are working towards the High School Equivalency Exam (the GED or the HiSET), but others want to read better, earn a promotion at work, or prepare for college classes or job training.
Whatever your goals, we will work with you until you are ready for your next steps.
