Programs We Offer

Adult Basic Literacy Skills

Start here if you want to improve your reading, writing, or basic math. These classes are great for beginners or anyone who wants to feel more confident in everyday life.

Pre-High School Equivalency

Get ready for high school-level work. These classes build your skills and prepare you to enter a HiSET or GED program.

High School Equivalency (GED/HiSET) preparation

Pass the HiSET or GED test and earn your high school equivalency diploma. This can open the door to better jobs, training, and college.

College and Career Readiness

Take the next step towards work, training, or college. These classes help with resumes, applications, study skills, and more.

About The Literacy Project

The Literacy Project provides free adult education that helps people gain the skills they need for work, family, and community life. For over 40 years, we have helped thousands of adults and out‑of‑school youth in Massachusetts reach their goals. Here are some very special ways you can help us:
