The Ware Adult Learning Center

One of five sites of The Literacy Project in Western Massachusetts, the Ware Adult Leaning Center is a non-profit, community based adult education program.

Not only do we offer free classes in basic reading, writing, math, and GED preparation but also have computers available for those who wish to begin or improve their technological skills.

Currently, our students range in age from sixteen to sixty years old. On average, students attend classes for seven hours per week. The length of the students participation depends on the goals that they are working toward and their skills in obtaining their goals.

Stop in, call us, or e-mail for more information about our classes!

The majority of the funding for Ware Adult Learning Center comes from public sources such as the state Department of Education (DOE) and the Ware Community Block Grant. Additional money comes from private donors, foundations, and community fundraising.

The Literacy Project provides accommodation for persons with disabilities.
