Heather 19 and Lynn Marie 3 _ Months

My name is Heather and this is my daughter Lynn Marie. I have been attending the Ware Adult Education Center off and on for the past 2 years. Since I have been attending classes my life has changed completely. 3 _ months ago I had a baby as you can see. Having a baby has changed my life drastically. I love being a mom; I love my daughter with all of my heart. It is very, very hard being a mom but I have my family who helps me out a lot. My baby is a great baby, she is so cute, and she is getting so big so fast. I spend everyday waking moment with my daughter; she is my pride and joy. She is going to be 4 months old on February 21, 2003 and she is doing so many new things everyday. She holds her head up on her own; she has learned to cross her eyes and to scream in a very high pitched voice. December first was the first time she smiled and now she doesn’t stop smiling. She stands up while I hold her hands, she loves to pull her grandma’s hair and scratch her all the time. Lynn is a wonderful baby she barely ever cry’s, only when she’s hungry. She has changed my life around from being a normal out of control teenager to a calm and understanding mother. Lynn has also made me learn a lot of responsibility. Oh yeah she loves her baths also. This is me and my daughter, Lynn Marie, I love her dearly.

Now that you know some facts about my daughter I will tell you a little bit about myself. I am studying to obtain my G.E.D and it is a lot of work. After I get my G.E.D. I plan to go to collage and study to become a Department Of Social Services Social Worker. I am working harder on trying to get my G.E.D. so I can provide a good life for my daughter. I also would like to be a Social Worker because I know what it’s like to be a part of the system and I know how children want to be treated and I can give that treatment to them. Well now that you know about me and my daughter I am going to go and I will keep you updated on how she is.

I also have one thing to say to people who are reading this, the Ware Adult Education Center is a wonderful place to learn and if you are thinking about getting your G.E.D. stop thinking and come in. Obviously if you are on the website there must be a reason why you are there. Give a chance you never know you may like it.
