Wal-Mart Foundation promoted Ware Adult Education Center on its National Literacy Initiative Hotline

Quaboag Valley Community Development Corporation and Ware Adult Education Center posted flyers advertising an overview to the "Passport to Success" program; this was a collaborative pilot project to increase computer skills, write resumes and cover letters, practice interviewing techniques, learn new job hunting skills, and help people gain workforce-ready job skills.

There was a picture of signs in our front window which read, Adult Education Budget Cut: Please call or write your legislators.   The caption beneath read, A Ware resident walks past the Ware Adult Education Center on Main Street where the message in the window clearly states the harsh reality of shrinking state funds.  Whether or not he center will remain open after Jan. 1 is still unclear.
