I think this was very nice because it shows people that they have your support. I know this because I've been through abuse and how you have shown me that I am supported by you. THANK YOU! ~~~~~~~~~~ The program was beautiful, so well written, presented, and responded to. May we take our candle home to remember those in abusive situations, but also our own promise to support and encourage as we are able. That you for letting me be a part of this.
The silhouettes and the captions made me feel that the victims were surrounding us with their witness and hearing our promises to continue the work in their names. ~~~~~~~~~~ God bless the families!
I came to the Adult Ed center after the vigil in Veteran's Park, so I could get a closer look at the Silent Witness Silhouettes. Thank you to all the students and teachers for telling more of the life stories of these people. You helped me learn how they lived -- before they died. You gave more dignity to them, increasing the sadness of their deaths. Thank you. ~~~~~~~~~~ This is an amazing project and I really believe it will make a difference. I think it will give courage to people who think they are alone. Thank you for doing it.

I think that it was real nice to see people come together to help people to not be afraid of domestic violence and it ment alot to me to know that it made my girlfriend feal better that she had people to be there for her so I would like to say thank you. ~~~~~~~~~~ At the vigil, I felt very sad. I think it was a very good thing to stand up for something we believe in that needs to stop. I can't belive that so many people could do this. I think it is a very sad thing and I wish there was some way to change it. I lso would like to know who called here and was so rude [a threatening call was made to the site director at the education center just ten minutes after the vigil]. I do not agree with domestic violence and I hope never to become a victim or do it to someone else.
