Franklin/Hampshire Region Community Planning Partnership

 

Vision Statement

 

The Hampshire/Franklin Community Planning Partnership envisions an ABE system in which prospective students have easy access to clear, concise, multi-lingual and readily available information about the services available to meet their needs.

 

The Hampshire/Franklin Community Planning Partnership envisions an ABE system in which appropriate and effective outreach is targeted to reach traditionally underserved groups, such as: adults with developmental and cognitive disabilities, out-of-school youth, homeless adults and youth, ex-offenders/youth and adults on probation, low-literacy parents, migrant workers/families, people transitioning from welfare and women who have experienced domestic violence.

 

The Hampshire/Franklin Community Planning Partnership envisions an ABE system in which special services and support are available to assist students in their transitions from ABE to higher education, from ABE to employment and from corrections to ABE.

 

The Hampshire/Franklin Community Planning Partnership envisions an ABE system in which prospective students waiting to access ABE classes have adequate support and services to meet their needs during the waiting period.

 

The Hampshire/Franklin Community Planning Partnership envisions an ABE system in which out-of-school youth are adequately and effectively served and is responsive to their educational, social and emotional needs.

 

The Hampshire/Franklin Community Planning Partnership envisions an ABE system that is as accessible as possible to current and prospective participants in regard to the hours and locations of programs and the availability of transportation and childcare.

 

The Hampshire/Franklin Community Planning Partnership envisions a service and support system in which low literacy adults, limited English-speaking adults, out of school youth and the families of these individuals receive services that are integrated, well coordinated and appropriate to their needs.

 

 

 

 

Mission Statement

 

 

The Franklin/Hampshire community planning partnership is committed to ensuring that the needs of adult learners are taken into account in all the major planning initiatives in our service area. Realizing the interdependent nature of our service delivery and that problems don't stand on their own, we wish to assure good communication across sectors, to continue already strong alliances, and strategically increase our participation in ongoing local planning partnerships.
