Introduction
This lesson briefly covers economics, which accounts for twenty
percent of the questions in the GED Social Studies test. What kinds of things do you do
every day that have an impact on the economy? How does the economy affect you? Often, choices are involved.
People weigh costs and benefits to make choices about earning, spending,
and saving. Objectives
When you complete this lesson you will: ·
Be familiar with the market-based US economy. ·
Investigate the roles that individuals play in the economy. ·
