Passing the GED Social Studies Test
Introduction
This lesson provides an overview of the GED Social Studies test. In the GED Social Studies Test, you will
answer multiple-choice questions based on reading passages and graphics about
U. S. history, world history, government and civics, economics, and
geography. The types of graphics may
include maps, charts, graphs, political cartoons, diagrams, timelines, and
photos. The test will also include part of at least one key document from U.
S. history and a passage from a practical document, such as a job
agreement. Objectives
When you complete this lesson you will: ·
Be exposed to the skills and knowledge needed for the GED Social
Studies Test. ·
Find out about the kinds of graphics on the test. ·
Learn some approaches to test questions. Learning Activities
