A child shouldn’t have any worries. They should do what they do best. That is being simply a child. When adolescence begins, a child’s world changes. Their bodies change. Their view of the world changes. They question further the curious adult behavior and all the crazy happenings in the world. Without having life experience it leaves them more questions and fewer answers. The stirring curiosity and yearning to become older and more complete can leave them a little frightened at times.
Young adults are faced with new and almost alien decisions daily. The environment that they have grown and developed in plays a big role with decisions they will have to make. It is no secret that young adults are a factor with how commodities are marketed. For the most part youths decide what is "cool", defining the term popular. Their perspective on the world that surrounds them will vary with those who have taught, supported and have the influence to guide them.
Who are raising these children? That is something that should always be kept in mind. This will determine how a lot of these children turn out. Were they raised in a nurturing home or an abusive one? Did they become accustomed to material beliefs or did they lack things a child needs? Were they given a proper understanding of temptation or a lesson in abusive indulgence? Consider drugs and alcohol. I am aware that a good number of parents make the best decisions possible in their given situation.
Teachers also have the power of influence. They see the daily development of these kids. School can be made easier or a nightmare to wake up to. There are so many distractions outside of school that invade and compete with education. There must be an open line of communication between the student and teacher, giving them the opportunity they need.
Parents of the past, present and future take note of a young man in history, who sat on the streets, an inspiring artist. Rejected. Angry. Forming his opinion of the world, quite possibly because of what the world had to offer him, this young man rose up to slaughter nations. His name was Adolf Hitler…..
