Jazmyne TerraSky If you think about it, our first breathe we
take is a beginning to a long life of confusion. This question can be answered in many ways. The people of society today see the world
as a waste product where they just cut down the trees and build
skyscrapers. Hoodlum kids on the
street just throw their trash on the earth and then claim that it is not
their fault that their surroundings are nasty. The majority of the young people today haven’t even taken a
hike or even just a walk in the beautiful woods. When you do that you get to see the good side of this earth. If you go to the store all the time and buy
junk food you don’t get to appreciate the grains, fruit, and veggies that
mother earth has to give. Most people
see the earth as a trench that sucks everyone down with all the bombs and
hatred. Some people believe that
peace is just a fairytale; the effort is what really counts. I know personally, I am more at peace then
I have ever been. You don’t need
money, a nice car or a mansion to be at peace. I care more about the things that people can’t take away from
me, and I hold those things close inside.
If people like to contradict the way I live and the things I believe,
I don’t stress it. I think of it as
their loss. I love my friends more
than any living thing on this world.
Nobody, but the police, can take my friends away from me. If I have money or anything else that they
want or need more than I do, it is theirs in an instant. I don’t like how this world has evolved,
people are brainwashed to think that hatred and killing is the “right” way to
be. If we all lived from the earth
like in the olden days, the people today would be less grimy and more down to
earth. Also people will be more
appreciative of what they have, people would be more healthy and happy. This life is too short to see the earth as a shitty thing that just comes and goes. If you explore and try new things, not linger on stereotypes and the ways that other people are, you’ll get more out of it if you give more. This earth has a lot to give if you want the best out of it. |
