A Mouth Full of Pepper

In a hurry to get into of the house, I forgot the keys in the lock.  My four-year-old went out to play, taking my keys with him.

After a few minutes he came into the house screaming, "My mouth is burning.  I'm burning!"

I rinsed out his mouth with water.  Between screams, he told me how he just wanted to taste the pepper spray that I kept on my key chain.  I called Poison Control and found out he'd be fine. "Just give him Popsicles to cool the burning."

I didn't even have to punish him, figuring a mouth full of pepper was punishment enough.
