The Steps For Subtraction

1. Put the larger number on top and smaller number on the bottom.

2. Don’t forget the hidden decimal points after the whole numbers.

3. Line up the decimal points.

4. Now you start to borrow left to right, if necessary, while subtracting right to left.

5. Now the next step is to check by adding the difference between the numbers to the smaller number.

6. Start on the right and work to the left and always carry the extra number. This is the proof.
