Public Policy Hero: Luz was the TOP PRODUCER in our last public policy
campaign to preserve the Adult Basic Education Budget. She went beyond the call
of duty by making sure to send some literature and a personal message to each
and every elected official at the state level that she was able to identify.
(Some of them MORE than once!). She also made more than her fair share of
phone calls.
