people in from GCC to talk with you, if there is enough interest. I can bring
in some people from the Career Center to talk with you all about interviewing
skills if there is enough interest.

Her program can get you training after you obtain your GED.

Her program can get you training after you obtain
your GED. 60 Days intensive job search assistance and skills training program
designed for non-AFDC families.
Skills Start Program: Office Computer Skills,
Certified Nursing Assistant, Microsoft Office Software and many more. $850.

You can talk to your DTA worker, or me and we can
get you tapped in to this program once you have signed up for your GED
Mass Rehab
Provides services like tutoring, assistive
technology, independent, job training and placement and financial help for
people who have documented disabilities.
I
want to help you all, each and every one of you prepare for life after the GED.
Some of you may be ready, and some of you may have a few more classes to attend
to prepare yourself for the test. I want to help you function and get the
services you need in order to complete the GED, and do what you want to do
after it.
I
would like to meet with each and every one of you on an individual basis in the
next few weeks. I have a few questions to ask you, but most importantly, I want
you all to ask me questions.
If
you have a resume, bring it. If you have a plan for after the GED, bring that.
I want to help you do your family plans, and I can even help you all in one on
one tutoring if you need me to.
Schedule:
Tuesday’s Thursday’s from 9-10am, and Wednesdays form 9-11 for this week and
next, unless something comes up when I can not make it here. I will post my
schedule somewhere where you can all see it. It will have my contact info on
it.
