Preface

This book began as a project in our computer class. First, we all thought of five important things that one should consider when learning to operate computers.

Next we all worked on a PowerPoint presentation that would showcase all fifteen ideas. The simple classroom assignment was on it's way to becoming what you now have in your hands.

This book is targeted toward those individuals who are probably 45 years of age and beyond, and have an inclination to become computer literate. I hope that you, the reader, will be able to glean from these following pages some tips, information or maybe just some pure enjoyment.

Most of all, we hope that who ever flips through our finished product will just go ahead, sit down at the computer of your choice, and begin.

Believe me, if all of us can learn how to work with computers, it's a shoo-in for anyone else.

Now, take a deep breath, relax, and most important, have fun.
