The GED Test

Massachusetts State High School Equivalency Diploma.

The Charboneau Learning Center does NOT administer the GED. We offer Free CLASSES to help you prepare for the GED.

We ALSO offer FREE GED PRE-TESTS along with scoring and counseling at absolutely no charge to the public.

All our classes & services (including GED prep) are FREE.

 

GED TESTING

Two of the Closest GED Testing Centers are at Greenfield Community College and Holyoke Community College (HCC)

 In Greenfield, the GED is administered at the

GED Testing Centers all over Western Massachusetts.

There is a $65.00 fee for taking the GED (charged by the Testing Center).

Private Group Testing
Private group testing is available to programs and groups. For more information, contact Ken White, GED Chief Examiner at 552-2324. 

GED Transcripts
There is a $7.50 charge for each transcript. Requests must be made in writing or in person.

GED Test Costs
The cost is $65 for the battery of tests; each retest costs $15. No shows are charged $25 per test day (excludes minimum 48 hour notice of nonattendance). Individuals who provide a 48-hour notice of non-attendance will be charged a $6 rescheduling fee. Applicants must register and pay all fees in advance. Please allow 2-3 weeks for test results.

Passing Scores
The minimum passing score per GED is 410 per subtest, with the minimum total score 2250.
