                        Analyze and explain methods for solving proportions (Number Relationships & Computation)

 Potpourri of math activities. Did some fraction work, some map work, some number crossword

 puzzles and some measurement activities. Class enjoyed the variety.

Looked at some Pictures of paintings by Will Moses. Chose one that everyone looked at and

made a list of the various things  we all "saw" in the picture. After list was created, everyone

began writing a descriptive paragraph(s) about the painting. Students will work on their writing

projects and "finalize" them before the end of the month in order to get them counted for May

Writing project….Class looked at pictures of many different kinds of shoes and chose one to

write about. They used the premise: What kind of person would you be walking in those shoes?
