The material was biased on several issues (Prohibition, Red Scare. KKK
etc) . . . I understand the
liberal state I live in, but I find that some of the points made were a
negative and blatant stab at
conservatism. It makes it
difficult to answer some questions when I may disagree. I can read +
respond with proper protocol but it will ultimately hinder how much I
get into or take seriously. I also
understand that now-a-days, it's tough to find neutral information.

inquiry
- and can a bright line be drawn between the
two????
This very interesting discussion definitely went on too long in too
unfocused a way,
but there were attempts to highlight and differentiate different habits
of mind (ways of thinking)
although gradually most students (wisely) chose to focus on their own
Math or Writing projects.

Looking at different ways to structure writing for different purposes.
We also had a mini lesson on using the Big Blue GED Book.
We finished the class by listening to an NPR piece about creating a
universe.
