Mostly Math:
Two mini lessons for different groups:
One group needed a review of Order of Operations (PEMDAS).
The other group reviewed the parts of any percent problem and practiced
solving simple percent
problems algebraically, after
reviewing why cross multiplication always works and the rules for
solving simple equations.
One person finished his Monthly Writing project (on immigrants) before
getting back to his Math
(decimal operations). Another focused on practice testing as he is
taking the GED exam starting
next Tuesday.
