Students seemed happy to be back. We worked on a
crossword puzzle, did a Venn diagram based on an article we read about
Power Soccer.
Students diagrammed similarities and differences between Power Soccer
and Regular Soccer.

suffragette movement. We will be looking at similarities between
Civil War fight for freedom of slaves, women's rights, civil rights

Looked at map of the US and noted
the states and years that gave women voting rights. Color
coded maps to show states with no rights, limited rights and full rights
for women. Students
really like using the overheads to do this. Good exercise!
