Writing - 5 paragraph essay

Discussed how the introduction of a 5 paragraph essay states the topic, thesis, and the 3 major

ideas that support the thesis.  These   3 ideas are then explained in their own body paragraph.

 

People had a little more than 45 minutes to write a GED essay.  Then they ranked themselves

using the "OVERALL ORGANIZATION" criteria for a 5-paragraph essay.

One person worked out a great chronology of the Great Depression and another looked up

careers in Graphic Arts before finding the GCC catalog.  Others did a Five Paragraph essay

ASSESSMENTs in Moodle or worked on their own essays.
