Continued preparing materials for the Holocaust quilt. Began cutting out and laying out some of

the pictures. Had students do a little more searching on the net for additional pictures.

More work on the Holocaust quilt. We were readjusting and laying out the information to see

what the most effective presentation would be.  This has turned out to be a really huge project.

We are trying to make this a really useful and user friendly learning tool.

Current events and some writing practice. Class worked together as a group for the whole class

time. We did some practice on reading bus schedules, airline information, planning a road trip

based on distance and time. Good activity for the group.

                    Factors affecting production, distribution and consumption (Production, Distribution, & Consumption)

Field trip to the Armory Museum in Springfield. Students watched a video of the history of the

Springfield Armory, toured the museum and enjoyed the many exhibits.

 

Lunche at the Century Buffet in West Springfield was enjoyed by all.
