Interview Skills

Brief discussion on class pragmatics: including plans to buy date books to help people keep their days

and weeks organized. They also did a brief review of their recent "job lives" which included a discussion

about the strike that was recently averted at Stop&Shop and the healthcare issues involved.

Eva worked them through a sample interview so that they could practice answering frequently asked

questions. She prompted them on ways to use each answer as a marketing tool. They also practiced

greeting and shaking hands.cer

Started cover letters and reviewed employment application sheet and reference sheet. Eva put a lot of

emphasis on strategically filling out the application so it can function as a marketing tool.
