Took a mini field trip to Wal-Mart so the women could try out their newly acquired skills in buying

clothes and undergarments according to the measurement tables we have been using in class.

Map work today. Latitude and longitude, plotting locations based on latitude and longitude. Class

seemed to get into it after some initial complaints. They were surprised at how easily a place can be

located using latitude and longitude designations. Talked a little about next work…Time Zones.

Went over the Chapters in the writing book that they will work on. These chapters are ones that are

not going to trigger memories that they want left buried. We also reviewed some of the

mechanics/grammar activities. Good class.
