Successes/Highlights

Field Trip to the Springfield Armory

The Springfield Armory was on the cutting edge of the industrial revolution and early practical development of

interchangeable parts during the early and mid 19th century.  Therefore, it was a very appropriate field trip for those

studying the Industrial Revolution.  (Being free and nearby didn't hurt either.)  We took 13 students there and also

enjoyed a meal at a Chinese buffet to celebrate the end of the Summer Cycle..
