


Nemrut which is 2150 m high, situated in the Kahta- Adiyaman province. During 80 B.C.-72 A.D., the Kommagene Kingdom reigned on the lands in the Adiyaman region. The God and the King Statues and reliefs are the remains of the Tumulus and Hierothesion of King Antioches I of Kommanege, who reigned during 69-36 B.C. These remains were discovered in 1881 by a German road construction engineer, Karl Sester.
When you reach to the top I belive that you want to stay one night there. Because sun-set and sun-rise is unbelivible. Also moon rise is gorgeous. Moon is so close, you will feel can catch the moon by your hands.
I stay there one night with a group that some of them New Zelland.They enjoed very much.
