I am the Site Director here at the Amherst Adult Learning Center. I do a lot of the administrative part of running the learning center. I also teach the Afternoon Class on Tuesdays and Thursdays,computer skills on Monday and Wednesday, and math to the GED students.

I have worked for The Literacy Project since 1996, but I have been a teacher for ten years longer than that.

I love this work because it allows me to meet so many different people from different cultures of the world. I am fascinated by how different and yet how similar we all are to one another.

The learners here are a friendly, generous and good-humored group and I am happy to know them all.
